Hotel Review | Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort
My experience at Ikogosi Resort is bitter sweet. The first time I went there was great and I couldn’t understand all the complaints others who had been there before and after me had. On my second visit however, I understood perfectly why people weren’t impressed with the resort. On both occasions I stayed for a night and the experience was definitely a sharp contrast. The resort is located in Ekiti State and was originally built as a camp site. Now however, it serves as the a

Hotel Review | Rock Valley Hotel
Pic Cred – Travel With A Pen Located about 10-15 mins away from Idanre Hills, it’s a no brainer that The Rock Valley Hotel would be the accommodation of choice for tourists visiting the area. Recommended to us by Bids, this simple hotel met our needs during our overnight trip to the sleepy little town last year. Rock Valley Hotel can be found on Odode Road in Idanre. It meets the basic needs of visitors to the town and is as comfortable as can be. Their rooms are spacious, be

Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort | Part II
The Le Meridien hotel story started off with the golf resort and we’ll conclude it with the rooms and restaurants. Le Meridien, Uyo has about 163 with most of them being king rooms. I stayed in a twin room and was able to jump from bed to bed. 🙂 I absolutely love hotel beds. Egyptian cotton sheets, soft pillows and I could lay in bed all day. View from my window. It was a rainy day. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath tub (separately), so it was up to you to decide whi

Hotel Review – Intercontinental Hotel
The strangest thing happened to me at Intercontinental Hotel. The elevators made me feel local. I simply didn’t know how to ‘work them’. I mean I watched security do it, but yeah I simply didn’t get it. I kept running in and out of it like an excited child till I managed to figure it out. I also noticed later on that there are rules for the elevators, so maybe you should read that first so you don’t end up like me. The ‘evil’ elevators Have I mentioned the lift mirrors are al

Westown Hotel
I’ve always loved hotels since I was a kid. Infact, one of my dreams is to own one. I already know what it’s going to look like, its name and pretty much already run it in my head. Good thing about hotels is they not only serve the purpose of accommodation, but food, meetings, clubs for some and it could just be a place to hang out. Westown hotel is or used to be a favorite secret hang out spot for a friend of mine, and I almost feel bad for exposing it. It is a business hote

A Boutique Hotel & A Christmas Party
About a week ago *insert schmoney dance*, my dept at my 9-5 decided they wanted a Christmas party before our company’s main one. Adna Hotel was the venue of choice. Adna is a boutique hotel with 20 rooms, but they are currently in the middle of adding more to bring it up to a total of 50 rooms. It is in GRA Ikeja which also means it’s not too far from the airport for travellers. Besides, what’s the point of tourism if there’s no place to lay your head? My colleagues and I had
